Set during the final years of the Golden Age of Piracy, A Pirate's Eyes follows John Rackham, the man history would later remember as Calico Jack.

 

Before he became an outlaw, Rackham was a naval officer serving the British Crown throughout the Caribbean. What he witnessed was not justice, but corruption. Framed for crimes he did not commit and sentenced to hang, he escapes execution with the help of a young woman named Mary Read, whose own family was destroyed by the same powerful interests. Together they flee into a Caribbean where the line between criminal and patriot no longer exists.

Soon they are joined by Anne Bonny, a fierce and independent woman trapped in a world controlled by powerful men. Together they build a crew that challenges the political and economic forces controlling the Caribbean.
